My name is Phil, and I grew up moving from place to place throughout my childhood. This mobile upbringing provided me the opportunity to live in various states and truly see what a great country we live in. My family roots run deep in "Patriotism" with family members that have served and continue to serve our country. From the Armed Forces to the U.S. Postal Service to Law Enforcement - my family remains proud to serve our great nation.

My family's roots stem from a long line of country folk - coal miners, farmers, loggers, mechanics, factory workers, and various other blue-collar workers. Although my family is scattered across this great nation, we love the thrill and adventure of the great outdoors. We enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, climbing, rafting, hiking, ATV riding, and various other outdoor activities.

The strength, stubbornness, strong will, and deep conviction of country folk have always been an ongoing inspiration. This mountaineer spirit and love of the great outdoors is why the "FEAR THE MOUNTAINEER" brand name was established. "FEAR THE MOUNTAINEER" captures and portrays the outdoor mountain spirit of those who live or enjoy mountains and the toughness of the wild. "FEAR THE MOUNTAINEER" is saying, "Fear those who are tough enough to engage in mountain activities and embrace the mountaineer or pioneering spirit of this great nation." Now…get the gear and wear it proudly, my friends!
